Here are five private equity deals that have gone down in the ASC industry over the past six months, according to a Sept. 12 report from PE Hub.
- In August, Great Hill Partners acquired The Woodlands, Texas-based Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, which operates 32 facilities across 12 states.
- EyeSouth Partners, backed by Olympus Partners, acquired Bingham Farms, Mich.-based Sunvera Group, an eye care-focused management services organization in August.
- Avon, Conn.-based Constitution Surgery Alliance received an investment from Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in June. Constitutional Surgery Alliance manages 16 centers across five states.
- In April, McKesson Corporation bought Quad-C Management’s stake in New Providence, N.J.-based Prism Vision, which has seven ASCs and more than 90 offices.
- Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Summit Spine & Joint Centers, which operates 17 ASCs across four states, was acquired by Wellspring Capital Management in April.
