Houston-based Nobilis Health acquired 50.1 percent ownership in Elite Surgical Affiliates’ three ASCs and one surgical hospital to complete an integration of the company.

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Health received the first approval required to acquire a 40 percent stake in Orchard Park, N.Y.-based Sterling Surgical Center.

The New York State Department of Health approved the partnership between pain management physician Frank Adipietro, MD, gastroenterologist Dhiren Mehta, MD, and Greenport, N.Y.-based Eastern Long Island Hospital to construct a new surgery center.

Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare and Avon, Conn.-based Constitution Surgery Alliance opened the Constitution Surgery Center East in Waterford, Conn., Nov. 16.

Los Angeles-based Doheny Eye Institute acquired a new office building in Pasadena, Calif., that will serve as its headquarters. The headquarters will feature operating suites and a clinical space.
