4 recent ASC joint ventures

Here are four ambulatory surgery center joint ventures that have been formed or announced within the past month.

Glendale (Calif.) Adventist Medical Center has reopened the Physicians Adventist Surgery Center as a joint venture, with local physicians as stakeholders and ASD Management as the managing company.

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H., has broken ground on the 16,000-square-foot Skyhaven Surgery Center. Frisbie Memorial will share ownership with a group of physicians.

The University of Maryland Shore Regional Health and University of Maryland Medical System will open the $7 million Surgery Center at Queenstown (Md.) on Dec. 18.

Dallas-based Texas Health Resources has contracted to build an ambulatory surgical center on its Presbyterian Rockwall campus. The ASC will be a joint venture with Spine Team Texas.
