4 recent ASC acquisitions & partnerships — July 2018

Here are four ASC acquisitions and partnerships announced in July 2018:

Westbury, N.Y.-based Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island is expanding its footprint by partnering with Huntington (N.Y.) Eye Care. The partnership will add Paul Krawitz, MD, and Christopher Lutz, OD, to OCLI’s staff. OCLI surgeons practice at several locations, including Island Eye Surgicenter — Westbury (N.Y.) and Stony Brook (N.Y.) University Hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Cleveland-based Woodside Health  bought a medical and professional office campus in Glendale, Ariz. Woodside Health purchased the 70,652-square-foot Arrowhead Professional Center from YAM Properties for $16.5 million. A surgery center jointly owned by Phoenix-based providers Banner Health and the CORE Institute anchors the fully occupied campus. 

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Skin Surgery Center sold its 18,300-square-foot medical office building to Vest Mill I for $6.6 million. Skin Surgery Center occupies 13,000 square feet in the building, with the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center’s plastic and reconstructive surgery department occupying the rest.

Harrison Street Real Estate Capital and Pinnacle Capital Management Services entered into a joint venture to acquire San Francisco-based Physicians Medical Center from Swift Real Estate Partners for $30 million. Palo Alto Medical Foundation and San Francisco-based Campus Surgery Center anchor the building.
