Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates partnered with Downers Grove, Ill.-based Midwest Center for Day Surgery and with the Surgery Center at Doral (Fla.).
Surgical Care Affiliates also acquired Illinois-based Midwest Surgical Management Group which manages several ASCs throughout the state.
Jamison, Pa.-based Physicians Endoscopy joint ventured with ACCESS Surgery Center physicians to acquire a majority stake in an ASC in Egg Harbor Township, N.J.
