4 new joint-venture ASCs — June 2019

Here are four joint-venture ASCs opened or announced in June:

Massachusetts-based providers ASC Holding Co., Reliant and Shields ASC partnered to develop an ASC.

Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford (Mass.) is developing a $16 million joint-venture ASC with Melrose (Mass.)-Wakefield Healthcare and Worcester, Mass.-based Shields Health Care.

Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center, Saratoga Springs-based Saratoga Hospital and an 18-physician group gained clearance for their surgery center development in Albany.

A 12-surgeon group is collaborating with investment firm Advent-Morro Equity Partners to open a $16 million ASC in Puerto Rico.
