2 new joint venture ASCs — June/July 2018

Here are two new joint venture ASCs with updates in the past couple months.

Clifton Park, N.Y.-based Ellis Medicine received state approval for its $13.64 million, 40,000-square-foot surgical center that was announced in September 2017. The surgery center will be a joint venture between Ellis and its physician group. Ellis will maintain a majority of the control.

Three Albany, N.Y.-based provider groups broke ground on an ASC and medical office building in Colonie, N.Y. The development is a joint venture between Albany ENT & Allergy Services, Ortho NY and St. Peter’s Hospital.
