Here are 11 ASCs that were announced or opened in the past month.

Lawrence (Miss.) General Hospital plans to open a $56 million surgery center in April.

Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care plans to construct a $55.5 million multispecialty ASC and medical office building in Greenfield, Wis.

Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health System plans to open a new surgery center in Brownwood, Texas, in May 2017. The project is expected to cost $5.2 million and include three operating rooms.

New York City-based NYU Langone Medical Center submitted a certificate-of-need application to the state Department of Health for a $32.9 million ASC.

SurgCenter Development teamed with Miami Surgical Suites to open its 13th operational center in Florida.

VIP Surgical Center in Conroe, Texas, opened its doors.

SurgCenter Development opened its 100th surgery center in Grand Rapids, Mich.: Grand Rapids Surgical Suites.

After breaking ground in April 2015, Fairbanks (Alaska) Memorial Hospital opened its surgery center.

Spartanburg, S.C.-based Greenville Health System is planning to open a new surgery center in April.

Phoenix-based The CORE Institute and Banner Health expanded their partnership to open a new outpatient location: The Orthopedic & Spine Institute on the Banner—University Medical Center Phoenix campus.
