Three key details:
1. In October, 661,830 records were exposed or stolen from a total of 52 breaches.
2. The largest breach in October affected 152,000 patients of the Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Centers, and was the result of a ransomware attack.
3. Ohio was the state affected by the most data breaches with four total, followed by two in Virginia, Arkansas, Florida, New Mexico, South Carolina, Maryland and Louisiana.
