York University in Toronto, Canada, has developed a survey — the Health Professional Education in Patient Safety Survey — intended to help healthcare organizations assess employees' perceptions of patient safety in their workplace.

The two-page survey covers a vast range of topics, including employees' perceptions of their own knowledge of patient safety, perceptions of the workplace dynamic, communications, risk management and more.
