Here are four points:

1. The association is committed to helping providers create healthy work environments.

2. Providers may access the AACN Healthy Work Environment Team Assessment to align their efforts with healthy work environment standards.

3. The tool allows providers to survey staff members, compare results with industry standards and develop strategies to improve performance and patient safety.

4. “We know from listening to our more than 100,000 members that the impact of technology and the burden of more regulations and reporting, together with the increasing complexity of patients, add to the challenge of ensuring that work environments are healthy,” said Connie Barden, RN, AACN chief clinical officer.
