1. MBCHC ranked first among 44 Florida honorees and seventh out of 1,153 Federal Qualified Health Centers nationally.
2. HRSA awarded $63.3 million in Affordable Care Act Funding to improve quality in health centers.
3. MBCHC received the honor for its clinical outcomes, effective use of EHRs, improvement of clinical quality measures and improvement of cost efficient care delivery compared to the national average.
4. The health center will use the funding to continue offering high quality care, cost-effective primary care and chronic disease management.
5. MBHCH is the only full-service ambulatory care health center providing a sliding fee schedule in Miami Beach.
