Here are three facts:
1. Windward Surgery Center is a 9,000-square-foot facility with two operating rooms and two endoscopy rooms.
2. The center’s 30-person staff provides gastroenterology, general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, gynecology, plastic surgery and podiatry services.
3. The ASC is a partnership between Kailua-based Castle Medical Center, Windward Oahu (Hawaii) physicians and Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates.
