He spoke of Regent’s recent partnership with a group of physicians in Ireland looking to open a surgery center.
“It’s a much smaller world, and you need to look beyond your comfort zones to find opportunity,” Mr. McKevitt said.
When determining why Regent Surgical Health may want to partner with the practice in Ireland, Mr. McKevitt said it was important to understand the culture, the environment and reimbursement of the country’s healthcare industry.
“As early entry into the market, we have to be cautious. We have to learn what the market is,” Mr. McKevitt said.
