Under the agreement, Surgical Notes will provide transcription services to the USPI facilities, and the centers will receive pre-negotiated pricing arrangements. A keystone of the relationship between Surgical Notes and USPI is the SNChart application, which is directly integrated with most leading practice management systems.

USPI vice president of financial operations Matt Pate said Surgical Notes was chosen because of a proven track record with USPI accounts. The documentation company serves over 450 ASCs and surgical hospitals and more than 6,500 physicians nationally.
