Here are four highlights:
1. With a part of the donation, the hospital plans to add ambulatory locations for spine and orthopedic services in Los Angeles.
2. Torrance Medical Center will also use the money to establish institutes for neuroscience as well as orthopedic and spine.
3. In 2016, the hospital treated an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 orthopedic, spinal, neurosurgical and neurological patients.
4. Mr. and Mrs. Lundquist have donated $100 million to the hospital so far.
