Thief charges $4K+ on credit cards stolen from Nebraska Surgery Center

A woman allegedly swiped a purse from Lincoln-based Nebraska Surgery Center, according to local news affiliate KOLN 1011 Now.

1. The theft reportedly took place Dec. 19.

2. The suspect charged more than $4,000 on credit cards from the stolen purse, police said.

3. Surveillance video shows the suspect purchasing gift cards at JC Penny’s, Walmart, Gamestop and Menards, according to authorities.

4. It is unclear whether the purse belonged to an ASC staff member, patient or someone else.
