These 10 pharmaceuticals have the best reputations — Who is #1?

Reputation Institute released its list of the top 10 most reputable pharmaceutical companies for 2017.

Reputation Institute collected more than 16,500 reputation rankings from January and February 2017 across the general public in eight countries.

In general, Reputation Institute said the public views the pharmaceutical industry strongly. The industry as a whole has a reputation score of 71.8 which is up from 68.2 in 2016.

Here are the top 10 companies in 2017:

1. AbbVie
2. Novo Nordisk
3. Takeda
4. Roche
5. Janssen Pharmaceuticals
6. Gilead Sciences
7. Bayer
8. MSD / Merck & Co.
9. Sanofi
10. Eli Lilly
