New Hampshire was ranked as the best state for healthcare in 2025, according to personal finance website WalletHub.
The publication compared all 50 states and Washington, D.C., through 44 metrics across three main categories: healthcare cost, access and outcomes.
Each state could earn 100 total points, with each of the three main categories worth 33.33 points.
Data for the rankings was collected from sources including the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Council for Community and Economic Research.
WalletHub published the rankings July 28.
