Here are five things to know:
1. The position is new and complements Teladoc’s expansion of its behavioral telehealth sector.
2. The program will provide consultations with board-certified psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists and social workers.
3. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Cohen served as the CEO of Breakthrough, a web-based behavioral telemedicine firm.
4. With more than 35 years of healthcare experience, Mr. Cohen has held roles at Ideomed, APS Healthcare, Wellcare Health Plans/Harmony Behavioral health and the Institute of Psychiatry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, among other companies.
5. Mr. Cohen has a master of public health in hospital administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
