Pipeline break near surgery center causes Ohio hospital to reschedule some surgeries

Oregon, Ohio-based St. Mercy Health St. Charles Hospital had to reschedule five afternoon surgeries Oct. 16, after a pipeline broke in the hospital’s hallway, the Toledo Blade reports.

The break happened near the hospital’s surgery center and was overflowing into the hospital’s hallway. A hospital spokesperson told the Blade that most of the surgeries were rescheduled for later in the week and the hospital was working to reschedule a final surgery.
