The Milestone Surgery Center in Parker, Colo., has received its state license, the ASC said Oct. 18.

Atlanta-based Georgia Plastic and Reconstructive surgery center is now accepting cryptocurrency, the center said Oct. 19. 

Columbus-based Central Ohio Urology Surgery Center is the first ASC in Central Ohio, and one of the first in the nation, to perform a robotic prostatectomy, the center said Oct. 19.  

Nashville, Tenn.-based Lync Health Partners, an ASC purchasing and managing company, is hoping to build new surgery centers in states without certificate of need laws as part of its Midwest-focused growth plan, according to The Nashville Business Journal.

Texas County Memorial Hospital is looking to finish a partially completed surgery center in Houston, Mo., but it first needs to secure funding, Houston Herald reported Oct. 15.

Surgeons at Warwick, R.I.-based Ortho RI Surgery Center performed the state's first balloon implant procedure for non-repairable rotator cuff tendon disease, the company said Oct. 15.
