Over half of physicians (51 percent) who reported being sexually harassed by patients at work often internalize the incident, letting it affect their work going forward, according to a Dec. 29 Medscape survey of more than 3,000 practicing physicians. 

Sixty-six percent of physicians have witnessed other physicians making fun of others outside the workplace, according to Medscape's 2022 report "Physicians Behaving Badly."

Over half of physicians who have been sexually harassed at work, either by a patient or coworker, have failed to report the incident, according to a Dec. 29 survey of 3,000 practicing physicians from Medscape. 

While the job market has seen major recovery in 2022, an aging workforce and lack of new immigration means that many companies are still fighting to hire new talent.
