More than 50 percent of states in the U.S. are raising the minimum wage requirement in 2023, according to a Jan. 1 report from CNBC. 

Over half of physicians (51 percent) who reported being sexually harassed by patients at work often internalize the incident, letting it affect their work going forward, according to a Dec. 29 Medscape survey of more than 3,000 practicing physicians. 

Sixty-six percent of physicians have witnessed other physicians making fun of others outside the workplace, according to Medscape's 2022 report "Physicians Behaving Badly."

Medscape laid out the compensation of hospitalists in its "Hospitalist Compensation Report."

While the job market has seen major recovery in 2022, an aging workforce and lack of new immigration means that many companies are still fighting to hire new talent.

Washington's attorney general is suing Seattle-based Allure Esthetic and its owner Javad Sajan, MD, alleging that patients were illegally coerced to remove negative reviews and staff were forced to post fake positive reviews online, The Seattle Times reported Dec. 29.
