Cherry Hill, N.J.-based Cheh Lu, MD, has pleaded guilty to improperly prescribing oxycodone, the Courier Post reported May 2. 

Two Newark, N.J.-based physicians and their medical practice will pay $1 million to resolve False Claims Act allegations, the U.S. Justice Department said April 28. 

Healthcare services company Surgery Partners brought in $666.2 million in revenue during the first quarter of 2023, an 11.7 percent increase from the prior year period.

On May 1, UnitedHealthcare made nine changes to its reimbursement policies for its commercial, individual and family, and Medicare Advantage plans. Some of the changes go into effect June 1, while others will begin August 1.
