Beginning in 2024, Generation Z will make up a larger portion of the U.S. workforce than baby boomers for the first time, according to a Dec. 5 report from CNBC based on a forecast report from job search website Glassdoor. 

The U.S. ASC market is expected to reach $53.67 billion by 2028, according to the "U.S Ambulatory Surgical Centers Market — Focused Insights 2023-2028" report released Dec. 11.

While the gender gap between male and female physicians is getting smaller, it still sits at 29%, according to Medscape's 2023 "Physician Compensation" and "Female Physician Wealth & Debt" reports. 

The U.S. healthcare and social assistance sector added 93,200 jobs in the month of November, the most of any sector, according to a Dec. 8 report from CNBC.
