The ambulatory care center now includes the da Vinci robotic system, which allows surgeons to perform outpatient procedures on the gall bladder and hernia repairs. Surgeons at the hospital have used the technology since October, when it was brought in on a trial basis.

Orlando Health decided to make the technology available permanently due to its popularity.
