New Jersey plastic surgery center raises $11k+ for Alzheimer’s Association: 3 things to know

Paul M. Parker, MD, FACS, and the Paraumus, N.J.-based Parker Center For Plastic Surgery raised $11,480 for the Alzheimer’s Association at the association’s Longest Day event to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s.

Here are three things to know:

1. The center raised over $6,000 last year.

2. Angela Parisi, the nurse coordinator and injector at the center, said she made it her mission to research the cause and show support after a close relative of hers was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

3. During the event, the Parker Center offered select free cosmetic treatments and services.
