MEDARVA Stony Point Surgery Center reaches new milestone; Serves 200k patient

Richmond, Va.-based MEDARVA Stony Point Surgery Center served its 200,000th patient since its 2002 inception.

1. J. Stewart O’Keefe, MD, of Richmond-based Retina Institute of Virginia, performed the procedure.

2. In 2016, the surgery center performed more than 16,000 procedures.

3. MEDARVA Stony Point Surgery Center providers offer vision and hearing services.

4. MEDARVA Healthcare CEO and President Bruce Kupper said, “It’s truly a landmark accomplishment for our physicians, staff and board.
