Lockheed Martin $2M Donation Funds UCLA Outpatient Recovery Suites, TeleHealth

Lockheed Martin has donated $2 million to UCLA Health System’s Operation Mend to fund the new Lockheed Martin UCLA TeleHealth Suite and Lockheed Martin Outpatient Recovery Suites, which is part of the broader Ambulatory Surgical Center Enhancement Project, according to a News Medical report.

The Ambulatory Surgical Center Enhancement Project also included the addition of four private patient recovery suites and new high-tech surgical suites. The new telehealth suite will allow specialists to connect with patients after they return home.
