Here are five ingredients:

1. Clean mobile design. Don’t put too many words on your webpage as fewer words may resonate more with readers. Ensure your website has mobile responsiveness, which means the coding allows readable sites. Providers may have to hire a web developer to get this in place.

2. Easy to remember address. Rather than putting your practice name or abbreviation, use a catchy and simple address that is easy for patients to remember.

3. Speak the patient’s language. Ensure you are modeling your website to the patient, rather than using language geared toward other medical professionals.

4. Content management system or website builder software. These features will allow physicians to avoid employing a web developer when a physician wants to update their website.

5. Make contact and location information easy to find.
