Idaho ASC celebrates 10 years of independent ownership — 4 details

Ponderay, Idaho-based Pend Oreille Surgery Center is celebrating its 10th year in business on May 13, the Bonner County Daily Bee reports.

Four details:

1. The ASC has remained completely physician-owned since it opened. Michael DiBenedetto, MD: Charles Crane, MD; Jonathan Fisher, DPM; Chase Williams, MD; and Michael Schicker, DO, are the current owners.

2. Six of POSC’s 19 staff members have worked at the facility since it opened.

3. Kris Sabo, RN, serves as POSC’s executive director and administrator. Dr. DiBenedetto serves as medical director, and Dr. Crane is president of the board.

4. In the past decade, POSC surgeons have treated 10,000-plus patients and completed over 23,000 procedures in specialties such as orthopedics, podiatry, endoscopy and general surgery.
