Hurricane Michael forces Panama Surgery Center to temporarily close: 3 details

Panama City (Fla.) Surgery Center is closed until further notice due to the effects of Hurricane Michael, according to a statement on the center’s website.

Here are three details:

1. The storm reportedly caused a power outage at the surgery center.

2. The surgery center will notify patients about resuming regular operations once power is restored.

3. Despite the closure, the facility plans to process payroll for employees the week of Oct. 15-19.
