1. The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 mandated the establishment of a task force.
2. HHS is accepting nominations with the following qualifying factors:
• An influential player in an organization that is representative of healthcare and public health
• Experience with technical, administrative, management or legal components of health information security
• Understanding of health information security policies and best practices
3. Task force members will meet in-person four times and telecommunicate eight times. The task force will hold its first teleconference on March 17.
4. HHS expects members to review and contribute to documents.
5. HHS will accept nominations until March 9.
