Henry Schein Medical Systems partnered with Simplifeye to incorporate mobile integration into its practice management software MicroMD.

Here's what you should know.

1. Simplifeye's software, also named Simplifeye, allows physicians to view real-time patient information on the Apple Watch and the Apple iPhone.

2. The Simplifeye integration also allows office staff to reduce the time spent on tasks like checking-in patients and gathering patient information. Staff will receive real-time notification when a patient arrives. The app also tracks patient wait times.

3. Henry Schein Medical Systems General Manager Kristen Heffernan said in a release, "Living in a digital world, customers can rely on Henry Schein to provide everyday technology they are familiar with to enhance digital workflows in a practice setting. We remain committed to providing practice management solutions that can enhance common practice procedures so that physicians can focus on delivering quality patient care."
