First Surgical Partners Considers Going Private

First Surgical Partners, an ambulatory surgery center and acute care hospital company, is now considering a going-private transaction.

The transaction would mean the company would stop being a public reporting company and its shares wouldn’t be traded on any exchange and/or quotation system. The board of directors has created a special committee to explore this transaction, as well as alternative transaction options.
