Marni Jameson, MA, executive director of the Association of Independent Doctors in Winter Park, Fla., will speak to this challenge during her presentation, “The Fight for Independence,” at Becker’s ASC 22nd Annual Meeting — The Business and Operations of ASCs in Chicago.

Ms. Jameson has been the executive director for the Association of Independent Doctors, a national healthcare nonprofit, since September 2014. She works to retain the independence of physicians and inform patients that hospital-employed physicians raise costs and lower quality.
