1. Operation Sight is a program that provides underprivileged patients access to cataract surgery.
2. Kris Pugh, MD, will perform the center’s first Operation Sight procedure on Aug. 23.
3. Eye Associates’ Edwin Apenbrinck, MD, said in a release, “We want to make it as simple as possible for people who truly need help accessing cataract surgery. If you have questions about Operation Sight or need assistance with your inquiry paperwork, we encourage you to contact us or another volunteering organization.”
