Kevin Daneshgar, MD, performed the procedure. “The advantages of a laparoscopic hysterectomy over a traditional hysterectomy include reduced trauma to the surrounding tissue and faster recovery times,” said Dr. Daneshgar. “In this instance, the patient also underwent an incontinence procedure. She was able to leave the clinic within 12 hours of surgery.”
Dr. Daneshgar is part of the surgery center’s Surgical Gynecology Center of Excellence.
