Construction begins on Seattle life sciences building

Construction began on an 11-story, 282,700-square-foot life science building that has been partially pre-leased by Seattle Children’s Research Institute, Commercial Property Executive reported Dec. 1.

The pediatric children’s institute will occupy 124,000 square feet of the property. Trammel Crow Co. and Washington Capital Management own the property.

The property is slated for completion in December 2024, and the first tenant will move in the first quarter of 2025.
