Bausch + Lomb opens $100M facility — 3 key notes

Bausch + Lomb opened a $100 million dollar facility in Waterford, Ireland, The Irish Examiner reports.

1. The eye health company will add 125 jobs to staff the facility. Bausch + Lomb will employ 1,300 people in Waterford and its surrounding communities.

2. The facility will help satiate market demand for its disposable contact lenses by increasing production.

3. The new facility is 112,000 square feet and adjacent to an existing 388,000-square-foot Waterford facility.
