The average total cases performed by an ASC per day has jumped 10 percent since 2011, according to VMG Health’s “Multi-Specialty ASC Benchmarking Study” for 2022.

Here are five other stats to know about total cases performed per center per day:

  1. Mean total cases per ASC: 20.9
  2. Median number of cases: 18.0
  3. 25th percentile: 12.3
  4. 75th percentile: 26.3
  5. 90th percentile: 37.1
