He earned his medical degree at The Chicago Medical School and completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. He completed his fellowship at Medical College of Georgia.
His professional experience includes serving as assistant medical director of Regional Surgicenter and assistant medical director of Midwest Clinical Research Associates. He has been a consultant with Movva Medical Consulting and is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
