2. An Apple spokesperson declined to comment on why the company was purchasing the startup.

3. Apple’s iPhone sales numbers are experiencing their first slump in sales since 2007.

4. Apple has expressed interest in expanding into the healthcare market. Apple has made HealthKit, a data repository that tracks a user’s health, a part of their iOS, Apple’s operating system, ecosystem.

5. Gliimpse is free for consumers. It makes its money from healthcare providers and software developers who pay to use the service.
