7 statistics on non-guaranteed physician salary

Here are seven statistics on the percentage of physician pay that comes from sources other than guaranteed salary, according to the 2015 Physician Compensation Survey by Physicians Practice.

•    None — 35.5 percent
•    1 to 10 percent — 15.6 percent
•    11 to 25 percent — 12.9 percent
•    26 to 50 percent — 7.5 percent
•    51 to 75 percent — 4.3 percent
•    More than 75 percent — 4.7 percent
•    All of it — 19.5 percent

Note: The survey includes responses from approximately 1,426 physicians.
