1st Navio-assisted SIGMA High Performance Unicondylar Knee surgery successful

Blue Belt Technologies announced the first Navio-assisted SIGMA High Performance Unicondylar Knee surgery was successfully performed.

In September of 2014, Blue Belt Technologies and DePuy Synthes Companies entered into a commercial agreement to make the SIGMA HP Partial Knee system available for implantation using the Navio system.

 

The first procedure was performed by Brian Hamlin, MD, orthopedic surgeon at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh.
