In a report released April 9, WalletHub determined the best and worst states for children’s healthcare. The site compared the 50 states and Washington, D.C., across three key dimensions: kids’ health and access to healthcare, kids’ nutrition, physical activity and obesity and kids’ oral health. These dimensions were evaluated using 33 metrics, including cost of a physicians’ visit, pediatricians and family physicians per capita and healthy-food access . Read more about the methodology here.
