Trump remains confident over GOP’s healthcare bill: 4 points

President Donald Trump and other Republican leaders celebrated over the House passing the healthcare bill, despite the bill having to make its way through the Senate, according to USA Today.

Here four points:

1. President Trump said during a televised event on May 4, “It’s going to be an unbelievable victory, actually, when we get it through the Senate.”

2. The House approved the bill by four votes in a 217-213 final count on May 4.

3. USA Today reports Republicans’ celebrations may be “somewhat premature” as it will be a challenge to pass the bill in the Senate.

4. A White House spokesperson said, “Today is about the House. This is the first step in the process.”
