NBC and the Wall Street Journal conducted the poll between Jan. 12 and Jan. 15, 2017.
Here are four takeaways:
1. Forty-five percent of respondents said the ACA is a “good idea,” while the remaining 41 percent said the law was a bad idea.
2. Fifty percent of respondents said that they have “little to no confidence that Republican proposals to replace the law will make things better.”
3. A recent Congressional Budget Office report found a partial ACA repeal could yield 18 million more uninsured Americans.
4. While Republicans maintain they will repeal the law, they have not put forward a solidified, clear plan of what an alternative will look like.
