Sixty percent of respondents said they are “significantly” or “highly” concerned. In comparison, when surveyed in January about the adoption of ANSI 5010, 64 percent of people said it had a negative impact on their practice. Three month’s after the 5010 switch, the people surveyed were split 50/50 as to whether or not they were upset by the change.
The recent survey shows 73 percent of people anticipate ICD-10 will negatively impact their operations and finances as well of their state of mind.
